Online GCP Taining with Certificate CITI Program

 

 

 
The Collaborative IRB Training Initiative (CITI) is a collaboration between CRCN and the University of Miami offering web-based training courses in human subjects protection.
Each CITI course is made up of individual modules. A full course takes several hours to complete, but you don't have to do it all in one sitting. Most modules take about 15-20 minutes each.

CITI Web-based GCP Training
Below are some tips for using the CITI website. You may want to print this page for reference.
1. Register
When you first visit the CITI website, you will be asked to register and provide basic contact information.  Note:  Be sure to select "Clinical Research Collaboration Network" in the "Participating Institutions" box.  This ensures that the CRCN administration  receives record of your training.
2. Choose course(s)
You will be asked to choose courses by answering 2 questions. Choose a basic or refresher course.
Notes:
·         Choose a biomedical or social behavioral focus in Question 1, according to your interests or duties. 
·         If you are taking a refresher course, extra options (GCP, Responsible Conduct of Research) are available in Question 2.
3. Take the training
After you choose courses, you will be taken to the Learner's Menu. Click on a Grade book to begin a course.
To request other courses, click on View/update your Learner Group.
